The X Distro project is a worldwide effort and initiative by Tech Distro that promotes the use of Linux everywhere. Linux creates one of the world’s best Operating System, working together in an open, transparent and friendly manner as part of the worldwide Free and Open Source Software community.
The project is controlled by its community, organizations and relies on the contributions of individuals, working as testers, writers, usability experts, artists and ambassadors or developers. The project embraces a wide variety of technology, people with different levels of expertise, speaking different languages and having different cultural backgrounds.
The purpose of X Distro is to feel cool while using and produce a modern, elegant and comfortable operating system which is both powerful and easy to use.
Started in May 2014, X Distro is now aiming to grow high in Commercial area and to become most widely used operating system in commercial as well as in personal used PC’s and to provide free software’s behind Microsoft Windows.
Some of the reasons for the success of X Distro are:
1. It works out of the box, with full multimedia support and is extremely easy and cool to use.
2. It is free of cost For personal Users
3. Provide all software’s pre-installed that are needed.
4.It is community-driven Project. Users are encouraged to send feedback to the project so that their ideas can be used to improve X Distro.
5. Based on Linux with Opensuse, Debian, Ubuntu, Gnome, KDE and many more committee it provides about 30,000 packages and one of the best software managers.
6.No security issues.
7.It’s safe and reliable. Thanks to a conservative approach to software updates, a unique Update Manager and the robustness of its Linux architecture, X Distro requires very little maintenance (no regressions, no anti-virus, no anti-spyware…etc).
